If you’re looking for a swift and beautiful list taking app that has some deceptively simple but powerful formatting and tagging rules, check out Cheddar.
— Matthew Panzarino, The Next Web
Overall, Cheddar is one of the best to-do list applications I have ever used. It is simple to use, and the Markdown and tagging support gives the app a little extra oomph. All of your tasks will be synced across all of your platforms, which is awesome to see in a free service. Not to mention that the app is gorgeous in all its versions.
— Rebecca Tarnopol, AppStorm
If you’re searching for a simple to-do list that you won’t dread looking at, it’s Cheddar. This stripped down productivity app for the web and iOS auto-syncs across your devices, so you’ll always have your list on you.
Users who simply want an ongoing paperless list of things that need to be done and the ability to check them off will love Cheddar.
Cheddar will save you time by cutting down on the data entry that is required of most to-do apps, so that you’ll have more time to get your actual tasks done.

Beautiful Pixels: Cheddar — Ridiculously Simple Lists
My first impressions of it were immensely positive. While others were still playing with the likes of Omnifocus, Things and The Hit List, I had found something that was simple, clean and did exactly what I was looking for — a simple way to list down tasks and attend to them later.
Cheddar has one of the best implementation of syncs I have ever seen. Any changes you make are instantly, literally instantly synced across all your devices. This is nothing short of magical, you can actually see the data change in front of your eyes.
I could go on and on about Cheddar’s beautiful UI and its feature list, but it’s best experienced when you demo it yourself.
— Preshit Deorukhkar, Beautiful Pixels
Deallocated Objects: App Review: Cheddar for iOS
I've used it to manage myself building apps, buying groceries, running errands, and doing some work around the house. In every single case I've found that it does it's job, gets out of my way, and lets me focus on actually completing my tasks. I would highly recommed you try it out.
— Jake Marsh, Deallocated Objects
I’ve been using Cheddar for about a month now, and I am definitely impressed by the speed and simplicity of the app. Plus, it’s just downright gorgeous.
— Christy Chan, App Advice
If your primary goals are synchronization and simplicity, or you really want a Markdown-capable to-do app, Cheddar is a good choice.

The Mac Observer: TMO's App Highlights: ThisLife, Chrome, Cheddar & More
Cheddar has a universal iOS app and full-featured web app, and a great differentiator is that it supports Markdown for creating lists, adding links, and styling text.
— David Chartier, The Mac Observer
I already own Things, Omnifocus, Wunderkit, Remember The Milk, and Reminders, but none of them have stuck around long term for me. What’s adding one more app to the list? Hopefully this one sticks around, and so far it’s looking like it might.
